I have fibre optic cable... I am next door to Japan.... without admitting, actively, they block the ip of the country I am in.. I pay for 3 different VPN's plus battle ping just to get a connection to the game capable of putting out the DPS which a3s requires. I basically pay 30+ dollars a month to play ffxiv. I was there for the crapdom that was 1.0 and I have my legacy status for seeing 1.1 through 1.4 to the end. Their dev team is not very large... let's forget about deserving vacation and let's get better servers and stop being cheap.
