On the subject of transfers though - anyone ticked off that they're offering free emigration from Chaos but no free immigration? I realise they don't want a mass surge of players joining Chaos but it also feels like they're saying "here is an improved service for you, but you have to pay extra to get it".

They only offer server transfer for the fall that a player don't like the new latency. Players who play on servers who don't change their locations don't have to fear about latency going worse.

Yes! There's a thread asking for SE to allow us to also move to Chaos free of charge - not just the other way around.

Maybe if both don't happen at the same time, or it can be abused

first week after Chaos maintenance : server transfer from Chaos away (can test out during the week how the new latency is before moving)
Second week after Chaos maintenance: server transfer to Chaos (have to create a new character for latency test)
