Editing Forum Tags To Insult People

Now that you mentioned it, I've noticed "selfish" and "unprepared" have surfaced in certain topics by the same user.

There's a locked thread on page 2 that has the most disgusting use of the tag edits made of so much crap that insults the OP by a tons of different people.. it took me a while just to get all the names down to report.

Are you referring to the no MSQ for ishgard thread? The bot tags? The Necroed one? If so what makes you think all tags are directed at the op? There were known botters posting in that thread, simply because they wanted their bots into the new areas without having to do the maq to get in.

But still, reporting tags on a necro thread? A current thread I get, but a locked necro thread? Whats next, searching the archives?

Regardless if it's a necro or locked thread, Tags should be reported because these people will continue to edit tags to include nasty and insulting comments about the OP and the topic the OP brings up in other threads without anything to stop them aside from people who do see this as abuse. They can literally say anything they want without fear of consequences.

Also.. Whiteroom, YOU are one of these people who abuse tags and edit them to insult people on threads, I've seen it. If you hover over tags it reveals the name of the person who made the tag. You think putting tags on a thread to insult someone conceals your name from anyone ever knowing? People like you need your forum privileges revoked.

Tags are not meant for people to leave smart ass remarks and rude comments about the OP and his/her topic. They're meant to help you find topics via the search based on the tags that have been placed on them.
