I think most of the posts in this forum can be summarized with the points in your post. Yoshi is too focused on 'new' players to the extent that they have poor player retention built into the game. Think about it for a second, almost everything we do is targeted to help new players advance but there is little advancement for end game.

At least in 1.x they had player polls so we had some voice, but now we must assume they read the forums, but i honestly doubt it. If they did, we would have more then 2 ex dungeons, 2 sets of end game gear and bard would not be a caster. (heh we might even have a ranged phy dps that didnt get a 'support class' label applied... (aka a justification for the weakest dps possible))

The only option i would see is to fire/replace Yoshi. Seriously, i think its time for some new directions and leadership. He seems more like a celebrity then an executive producer.

Hopefully one day they realize that 'Grind' does not equal 'Fun', and as a company engaged in international business, that they realize they need to cater to multiple audiences even to the extent that their communications are in multiple languages. Its 2015, about time they realize that their fans don't all speak Japanese. The excitement fades quickly when we need someone to translate for them or wait a few weeks before they get to it...
