Now you get 8 battle/field leves and 8 local every 36h, after this change you get 4 free slots every 12h, but you are not forced at all to do either battle or craft or whatever you can invest them as you want.

Are you casual and only play hard on weekends? get all the "slots" of the week and burn them down on battle leves to level up your char, or use some on local leves to keep it even.

Are you a hardcore player who plays a lot each day? Use exp party with the added bonus to chains to level up your battle jobs and burn the "slots" as 12 local leves every 36h (that's actualy 4 more than before).

I don't see why ppl complain really. You would have problems if you want to level up DoL jobs as the same pace as a DoH job, since now you can do 8 leves of each kind per 36h, but if you are a hardcore player you have time to invest leveling them in the "proper way", aka get the hell out of the city and farm.

i'm sorry since when did farming get you guild marks? that was what i have stated multiple times this gets rid of the way i have been using leves. 8 local, 4 battle, 4 gathering.

of course you don't see why people are complaining. maybe if you open your eyes you could actually see something.

i'm sure you will love seeing the game dead mon-thurs and only having a population on the weekends. just discussing it yesterday in one of my ls's and we had 10+ say they would stop playing during the week now and get on during the weekend to only do leves.

yes, as i have stated i was glad to see them make those 2 changes(not restricted half crafting half battle, and the saving them when you miss time), but the same thing could have been done with the system in place and saved wasted development time. that change would have made you happy and me happy.

sacrificing is always acceptable when you are the one getting the benefit. in other words it is ok for you because you get the benefit so you can't see why others disagree.

You keep talking as if there will be nothing else to do besides Leves. If that was the case I would agree with you but seeing how Leves are no longer a central part of FFXIV and new central content will take its place, how can you make that claim?

For those hardcore players battle leves may not even be worth it anymore. Just do SP chain groups for combat classes and local leves for crafting.

because whether you like to believe it or not there's still quite a few people that come on during the week to only do their leves then sign out. they are active during the weekend only. we had at least 10 tell us in one ls that they would stop the weekday playing and start only doing leves on the weekends. if you do 40+ leves in a day what do you think the chances are you will do anything other than that and then log out?

Find people with play times more compatible with yours, instead of whining that SE is not twisting their arms so they have to play on days when they rather not.

Also the game is a glorified open beta with a ridiculously low population at this time. Stop complaining about problems finding people to play with, obviously that will be sorted out once the game relaunches, and if it doesn't the game will die.
