how can improvements be viewed as bad? its sad very sad. You should leave and come back next year...I have mixed feelings about this. On the other hand I'm glad that they're removing part of this artificial gameplay restriction but then again I thought they wanted to make this game be about something other than just leves.
Maybe next year when they've done the major revisions to broken gameplay systems the future direction of XIV will be more clear when they can focus on new content and we'll see what kind of content that will be.
Yes, I think soone thing i would have to wonder is say for example is i am wanting to work on miner and i had built up like 20 points would be the way the points add up. for example, could i go run the treespeak leves and run back and grab those same leves over again 10 times and use all 20 points built up on the same leves over and over?
The Adventurers’ Guild will update its list of leves when you complete (or fail) a levequest, or when an additional allowance is issued.
because this specific improvement, is only an improvement in the eyes of the beholder
not everyone will like the loss of 4 leves every 36 hours in order to "stock up" on them

because what you consider as an improvement others that are leveling multiple classes can look at it as 4 less chances every 36 hours for additional chances at getting leves or guild marks.

Current:
36 hours = 16 leves (8 locals and 8 battles (+DoL and fractions))
1 hour = 0,44 leves
48 hours = 16 leves
1.19:
12 hours = 4 allowance points (to get a new leve or to reset a failed leve cost 1 point)
1 hour = 0,33 points
48 hours = 16 points
I don't see a problem
your 48 hour math is off
My XIVPad: http://xivpads.com?2031148
lol of course with that failed math you wouldn't.
current:
36 hours = 16 leves
1.19:
36 hours = 12 leves

It depends what you want to focus on though. You are getting 4 less leves overall but are being allowed to focus even more on any specific thing. Don't forget the battle changes that will most likely be making enemy grinding more rewarding and this system is tailored specifically for those with less time on their hands, who benefit immensely. I'm also willing to give up those extra leves to be able to marathon them 2 days a week, personally. I see the point on guild marks but those come easily enough as it is nowadays and I'd easily take this more flexible system anyway.
Well with the current it depends on what 48 hour span you're talking about. If you're talking about two consecutive reset days, that's 32 leves. If you're talking about a reset day and a day with no reset, that's 16 leves.Current:
36 hours = 16 leves (8 locals and 8 battles (+DoL and fractions))
1 hour = 0,44 leves
48 hours = 16 leves
1.19:
12 hours = 4 allowance points (to get a new leve or to reset a failed leve cost 1 point)
1 hour = 0,33 points
48 hours = 16 points
I don't see a problem
yeah, I see now what you mean
I have a little logic error in my math /swt
