Hairstyle Contest winners announced!

This is the Beta forums all over again, mostly middle fingers and angry rhetorical questions. How about we applaud those who won cause the only reason they did win is because people actually voted for them. Even if they did vote for themselves that's only one out of thousands. So clap, be happy for the winners and hope we get another contest in the future. And no, this isn't a discussion because there's nothing to discuss. We have our winners, decided democratically.

I'm slightly annoyed that I cast my votes before SE bothered to inform us that only the last vote counted. I liked 2 of the entries, had I known this, I would had only liked the male runner-up hairstyle. Of course the last page hairs would win when this sort of rule is implemented and announced when a lot of people have already voted... I think the voting should be done again to see which hairstyle would actually and fairly win. This was in no way fair to the people who entered the contest, the real winner now probably lost because people were no informed about the rules properly.

The whole contest didn't make any sense. A lot of the hairs weren't original hairstyles like they were supposed to be, a couple hairs were removed because of oversight so we lost out on some hairs that could have been (and probably lost some votes), and yeah they kinda botched the rules on how voting works until clarifying halfway through. They also should have made it a rule to where contestants had to use the head models they provided so the art didn't have as much influence over the actual haircut.

I mean I appreciate them doing something like this, but wow this could have been handled so much better.

We have our winners when a decent portion of the votes were counted differently than intended. Its like asking which ice creams do you like and then only counting the last bubble you filled out. And then two days after the initial question, they snuck in a little bit of text a few days later that says "oh btw, your last bubble was the only one we counted." When I voted I was like "ooh ill just click on everything I like because that makes sense." and I didn't even hear about the rule until after voting was closed. Congrats to the "winners", but the way they did the voting was really not great.
