Wish the runner-up female entry won, it's actually something unique looking.

Instead, a bland looking hybrid between the GS ponytail and the Lightning hair won, woo...

It's basically Serah's hair :/ buh, I don't want another waifu hairstyle...as my bf calls it lol...

So lame...the other one had way more votes and that one only won cuz it was posted after. I guess SE forgot how to do a poll, which they did many times in 1.x on here.

Which points out how flawed it really was.

I could understand if the winner had a small amount of likes more/less than the runner up. If someone voted for both but decided they liked the winner better, they didn't have to do anything.

But if someone liked both but liked the runner up better they would have to go back and remove their last vote or re-like 16.


Based on the difference, it's a safe bet that at least 400 people voted for both but only the winner got their actual vote, which leans more towards a lot of people voting day 1 and not seeing the rules about only the last one counting and not re-voting their primary choice

The whole contest didn't make any sense. A lot of the hairs weren't original hairstyles like they were supposed to be, a couple hairs were removed because of oversight so we lost out on some hairs that could have been (and probably lost some votes), and yeah they kinda botched the rules on how voting works until clarifying halfway through. They also should have made it a rule to where contestants had to use the head models they provided so the art didn't have as much influence over the actual haircut.

I mean I appreciate them doing something like this, but wow this could have been handled so much better.

I HATE HATE HATE accessories embedded in the hairstyles... they are not dye-able and usually clash with other head pieces...

I'm pretty sure it should of been the other way round, when I first checked on the first day the runner up male and female designs were so far ahead in likes it was unbelievable, it's clear it was just the other 2 were later in the selection process and was the "last like" from the majority before they clarified the rules.

In fact I believe that they should hold a secondary contest with only those runner up and winning styles and hold another vote. Lets see how that one pans out because I have a strong feeling the results will be reversed. Personally I have no interest in any of the designs but it was clear that the top male and female runner up was significantly ahead in votes.

Male runner up - entry number 9 (first page) 4067 likes
Male winner - entry number 23 (last page) 3697 likes

Over 370 likes were the difference but as we know with the rules more than that must of been ignored due to only the last one being selected. (considering people could potentially change their likes for the winner too you can expect something over 500 or so likes being lost)

Female runner up - entry number 16 (second page) 6543
Female winner - entry number 21 (second page) 6192

Again another difference of 351 this time. The winner being the benefit of being at the bottom of the page.

But I always wanted Serah hair so it's as close as I'll get.

The guys look real cute though but it looks similar to hair we already have...
With that said, the whole voting system was stupid.
Never do this again use POLLS only because tbh, I never went back and changed my likes...but I don't recall
even voting for the girls hair anyway.

On a side note, people should really just say 'congrats' instead of being completely rude to the winners.

My issue with the voting is the sheer discrepancy between the valid votes and invalid votes. 6,500 likes for the first female runner up, but only 3,250 counted. Literally half the people who voted for that hairstyle voted incorrectly. HALF. That's not just a "few" people who didn't read the poorly-presented and obfuscated rules. The winner had 4,000 counted out of 6,000, but came way later in the listing. That's still only 2/3rds of the voters voting correctly for that entry.
