zidane, cloud and wol require you to farm masses of mgp, which isnt done in some days

    and rng = medium difficulty
RNG = RNG. there is no difficulty in RNG. its what it is. RANDOM. you could win instantly or basicly NEVER. same as playing the lotto irl.

as i said. clould is grind purely because it just takes forever. wol and zidane are based on RNG. you could get em with only 10000 mgp both like my gf did for example. or you could be beating your head againist RNG still up to date like a friend of mine who spend over 700k mgp and still hasnt gotter either of these 2. i personally didnt even bother with it because its based on RNG thats stacked againist you. its the same reason i dont play lotto on real live. saying RNG is hard or something is the same as saying winning the lotto is HARD or requires effort. it does not. its dumb luck.

I was just complaining about not being able to find a party for Ultros. And soon after, I found a party for Ultros.

If anyone wants the numbers (I know I do!), we saw three Terra cards from 35 runs, across eight party members. That's not enough hits for a good sample size, but it's all I have. If these numbers are accurate, then the probability to get the card is 3/(8*35)=3/280 ~= 1%.
Each run was a minute long, two paladins in sword oath, no healers. That's an estimated one hundred runs, at one minute per run, for an hour and a half expected work. I got mine long before that, and the only person in my party to get another card was just helping me out and didn't want it.

I'm saying all this because I would have killed for this info before I started. This basically means that you should be able to get a card within two hours of grinding. Which, actually makes it easier than some other cards I've seen.

It's silly to say that getting any of the RNG cards is like playing the lotto. Winning the lottery has like a 1 in 500,000,000 chance (depending on what lottery you're talking about). A lot of dungeon cards are more like a 1/3 chance. While plenty are worse, the fact that something is RNG-based does not automatically mean there is no way to have any expectation about how long it'll take to get it. We just don't have a great amount of data for some cards.

Took me 350 runs of Dragon's Neck to get my Terra card. As a card hunter, I was keeping track.

Did you keep track of how many cards dropped total? 350 runs, times the eight people in your party, would give us a great sample size to test with.

And, a small update. On a whim, I checked party finder. I found a party for Battle in the Big Keep. I figure, may as well try this out. My luck's been pretty great while hunting these guys, so maybe I'll get lucky again, right?
He drops first flipping run. More than that, he dropped again for me less than ten runs later, before the party quit. Only one other person got it.

So! How am I going to farm World of Darkness? That's the only one left I can farm. What about the tournament cards, what's the rarity on those? All I can say is that I've been in four, and got Lightning on my fourth one. And a friend got Cecil on his first one.

Of the 350 runs (most with DF) 2 members of my LS got theirs and iirc 3 people in the DF mentioned getting theirs. So take that as you will.
