Please consider dropping PS3 sooner rather than later.

I remember reading a interview last year where someone from SE said that majority of the Japanese players are playing on the PS3 and not PS4. If this was a NA/EU game, the PS3 would probaly dropped, but since its not, I reckon aslong as there are alot of Japanese players on the PS3, we will not see it dropped.

Yoshida already said in a interview that 4.0 is already being developed and it will come on the PS3. So Maybe we will see the PS3 dropped after 4 years when 5.0 gets released, but right now I guess we are stuck with the limitations.

Could you go look for any of these interviews, the latter one if you can only manage one? I remember Yoshida stating that PS3 support will be dropped at 4.0 at the earliest, and there was no guarantee that PS3 would continue to work then. There was nothing about 4.0 coming to PS3, that was for 3.0.
