I've been playing for 8 months now and I still love it. I do my weekly Eso farming, level my classes, do treasure hunting, raids etc with my fc. There's always something for me to do.

Earning gils for the inevitable new housing plot. Level all class to 60 (slow and easy). Seal Rock, I kind of hooked to it, so I do it at least once a day now.
I've been working on getting at least all the combat classes to at least 50. I also get on to talk to friends and help my FC.
I love it all. Always very busy with pve, pvp, craft, gather, side content and social with lovely friends.
Friends. The rest... a lot of boredom but have other games to take up some of my time each day and it seems to be helping. Means that when I do log in I log in to play something for a short-long time and not just sit around. Need to diversify more - even with every lil bit being interesting it's basically can't do PvP with friends due to GC, can't be bothered with the crafting grind - it's just so annying right now, sure I'll get everything to 60 but no realy hurry got until 4.0 to do so. Sure I do enjoy raiding but that is again something to do for a few hours and be done with. Spread out a bit each day... it's a nice diversion. But I'll never understand the people that log on tuesday grind through everything and then log off for the rest of the week... it's like... what's the point then...
Genuinely curious, what do you mean by PvE specifically?
I've been really struggling with the lack of PvE content once you hit 60 T_T All I really do now is raid on raid nights, roulettes, then it's either fluff or gathering/crafting. I kinda wish this game had more quests, ironic as that sounds. Repeatables and more sidequests would be great!
Raiding with my FC static 3 evenings a week, capping my Esoterics and occasionally working on levelling a Dark Knight to level 60 (already got a Bard and Scholar levelled up).
Otherwise I'm playing MGS5 ATM (helps that I'm on hols atm).
Fancy Man of Gridania
At the moment:
Chat with FFXIV mates.
Do Duty Roulette EX every day, or farm it all in one day if I'm unable to play on other days (that can get painfully boring).
Beast tribe dailies (bomb mount soon!).
Work on getting Kirin every other night.
Mini Cactpot everyday, and then cry because I never seem to win anything after winning 10,000 two days in a row.
Tell myself I'm going to level a crafter class, but quit after 10-20 minutes. This happens every other week.
PvP when I feel like getting frustrated for whatever reason.
Alexander 3 for fun sometimes, the only part of Alexander that I consider to be a fun fight really. No boring robots.
The most important thing, glamour. Go look around for potential glamour sets, and put them together (unless they cost a lot of gil).
And that's probably it, I don't do too much but it's enough to keep me logging whenever I feel like playing, and enough to keep me subscribed.
Not wanting to lose my spot in raid is what keeps me SUBBED to 14, but most of what I do if I'm not raiding is PVP. It's not even that this game's PVP is particularly spectacular or balanced, it's just that it's loads more interesting than the PVE content ATM (what content, lol?).
I enjoy PVP in other MMOs, but this is the only one where I know people who actually play, so that's what keeps me coming back. Chatting and raging and laughing with everyone on VOIP while we wreck or get rekt is always a riot.
Right now there isn't a whole lot to do endgame, so pretty much I log in just to cap esoterics until 3.1. (and let me tell you, doing the same couple of dungeons every day gets old real fast). There's also Alexander, but i've pretty much gotten all i need from there. (for now)
I've also been working on alts
