Tbh, even that is better than not having the option at all.
I really hate the WHM AF2. I thought AF1.5 was really cute, I used it as my glamor for a long time.
I get they were trying to go for the classic WHM look, but I wish they wouldn't have. Someone posted an image a long time ago of the classic WHM look as a gown (kind of like AST) and that was beautiful. I wish they would have went for something more unique than "here's a slightly longer robe".
I like the Archeoskin crafting top. Put that with the Cashmere healing skirt, Kirimu Boots of Healing, and Dhamelskin crafting gloves/ ringbands/ kings new gloves, all dyed Jet black. Kind of a bad ass healer look. Used to use it with an eyepatch, but the only ones for healers was white.Almost every glamor I come up with for my healer ends up using non-healer gear. I try to avoid crafter/gatherer gear. Currently a combination of Strife and Bohemian. Might throw in Sailor or Allagan/High Allagan bits here and there... the latter is at least healer specific.
If I really want to rock the WHM look I just use the original AF. AST AF I'm just not going to use the original appearance ever unless I fantasia.
You mean you don't like it when your head looks like the back side of a Boo or a Shy Guy?
Q20: Will we ever be able to send tells from within an instanced area?
A20: While the feature can be implemented, it’s currently masked. It’s currently masked because we would like to prevent players from harassing each other just because they know they would never party together in the future. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully as we move forward.
So glad I'm not the only one. XD. I glamoured my esoteric top to a crafting one immediately after getting it. There is a sheen on the white that makes it look like something someone made on the cheap for a ballet recital in my opinion and as has been said...it fits really strangely on men. My healer is an Au Ra and from the front he actually looks like he has breasts due to the shadows and the way the fabric falls. I don't mind them sticking to the red and white sort of theme. Or even robes and hoods (though who thought a skin tight bob sledder cap was a good idea...please don't start a fashion line) but they could have done something a bit different. All the other esoteric gear is essentially building on the original gear style as well but most are pretty far removed and much more intricate than the predecessor. My usual tank linked me the paladin set chest piece and I got all excited to go look at mine only to realize it looked nowhere near the same quality as the the others.
I have no issue with glamouring gear. But considering the grind required to get it, I did expect it to be something you would actually want to wear and not to feel like I god saddled with my grans idea of what a WHM should look like. Looking it over, every piece of the esoteric gear I get will be glamoured. I've left the staff for now but only because I can't find one decent replacement which is a whole different can of worms if you want to talk about why we always get slighted on the weapons end of things compared to our staff wielding dps counterpart. Everyone just start designing WHM sticks and gear. We'll leave it all here and hope someone takes the hint. XD *goes to draw*

Yeah it's more of a principle thing... DoH/L do get some pretty nice looking gear.I like the Archeoskin crafting top. Put that with the Cashmere healing skirt, Kirimu Boots of Healing, and Dhamelskin crafting gloves/ ringbands/ kings new gloves, all dyed Jet black. Kind of a bad ass healer look. Used to use it with an eyepatch, but the only ones for healers was white.
Go back to the days of ffxi white mage condom head rofl
I think a lot of people feel this way about their Eso gear. I've struggled to find people that like the gear for their main class with the exception of female summoners XD
I main SCH and I can't shout from the rooftops, enough, how much I HATE HATE the eso gear. I hate the stats, I hate the way it looks ( its so frumpy and gross. Why do I look like I have life support tubes? ) and it even made me sad that I had to glamour over it. Why am I working so hard when I can't even wear my new shinies?
I personally like the WHM gear but I don't main WHM so I understand your pain fellow healers.

Square's HoodTek™ just doesn't translate to their headpieces. I'd love a cowl hood like they had on the merged pieces, but they seem to be unable to replicate that in any way with just one slot. I wish they went whole hog and made a cowl type body and changed the eso costs for it just so it could look good.
