Either you DPS as dragoon like everyone and do normal damage, or not and do inferior damage.

Inferior damage is inferior Damage Per Second. Still DPS.

I dunno. I kinda like healing on my DRG.

I do think that monk and ninja arent as well adjusted as dragoon. And ive not realy benefitted from any of the recent job/skill adjustments as a monk. Dragoon, even with its new toys, is also easier to play. So its understandable that more people are using dragoon and using it at passable skill.

How do people know there DPS and that of other peoples when this game doesn't support add ons? I want to raid in this game like I do in WoW. I haven't geared up enough yet but I figure wouldn't it be hard to do savage mode when you don't know if people are pulling their weight?

If Square Enix wants to have very difficult content they need to rethink adding add ons.

I mostly rely on threat for boss fights.

Which i know is not fair on summoners because it doesn't factor pet damage.

I rather enjoy tanking as a DRG-- you should try it sometime, it's a lot of fun. Pretty much all ARR content (probably not Final Coil and some of the EX Primals, though I've OTed Levi EX myself and seen a video of a DRG solo-tanking Titan EX) can be tanked by a DRG.

But no, in all seriousness, I've mained DRG for over a year now. I don't find I end up in parties with DRGs any more than any other class-- if anything, I'd say I probably see more BLMs than anything else.

I don't see double dragoon either, just dragoon and black mage, almost everytime.
