Why didn't they expand the hunting log?

Jobs never got hunting logs, just classes.
And because we didn't get any new classes...

Unlike those other jobs these new jobs don't have base classes so I think they deserve hunting logs.

My guess is the lack of enough mobs at any given level? There is very little overlap between the various class' hunting logs. I don't think they had enough mobs for level 50, enough for level 51, enough for 52, etc. to avoid having significant overlap this time around. That's part of the problem with not having enough levels in a level cap increasing expansion.

Um? 10 levels is more than enough and there's tons of new enemies in heavensward areas, definitely not the issue lol, especially since hunting log pages were 10 levels, not one....

Just like I said, centurio hunt marks are the new hunting log.

I wouldn't consider clan marks a replacement considering the new jobs have to do levels 30-50 to get to them.

And? We have had that since 2.0 it's not a good reason not to have it if we did for the other classes.

That's the exact opposite conclusion as to what I was getting at there.

Well these jobs deserve one even if they don't have a class in my opinion. After all they don't start at 50.

I did notice it as well, OP but the hunt log was essentially a mid level of experience points over the ten levels of log and something I see in heavens ward is no lack of experience. If you do all the quests, you will want at least two classes at 50 going in. Because I loafed around in 2.00 on MSQ I expect to have Whm to 60 before I ever enter HW and want one, maybe 2 other classes to 50 going in.
