Can't seem to get to the thread you are trying to link. Just takes me to a forum sectionOne reason is probably because of this : http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...threads/259928
I've never had this problem. There's always a learning party to join at some point in the day, and the people there are quite nice. Sure you look up the fight beforehand, but my PuGs have always been patient and willing to explain things people don't understand. My server is a high population legacy server and we also have dozens of entries in the Party Finder.
Half of them are crafting, three are FATE parties, and the last entries are EX Primals. HOWEVER, YOU HAD BETTER KNOW THE FIGHT PERFECTLY OR YOU'RE KICKED AND SHUNNED FOREVER.
That's the state of the Party Finder.
That's what happens when we've had nothing but 6 new boss battles total for a few months now (Bismarck, ravana, A1-A4). He said no one used party finder though, which is highly incorrect. My server is a high population legacy server and we also have dozens of entries in the Party Finder.

Also, nothing is stopping anyone from forming their own learning party....
Only six new bosses and yet it's spparently too much to add to the party finder![]()
I know. It's irritating for sure having to use the 'refer to comment' button instead, then you have to go and individually set each potential member a role...
No sarcasm intended I'm legitimately annoyed by it.
PS3 limitations I bet. (kidding, mostly XD)
Raids > Thok Ast Thok, Limitless Blue, Singularity Reactor, Alexander (Which was advertised in patch notes)
FATE > Dravanian Hinter/Forelands, Coerthas Western, Azys Ila, Churning Mists, Sea of Clouds
None of this is spoilers, so that's not really a point...
Even more annoying is that it prevents peopl from setting the search conditions to notify them when parties are available. So even if people want to do rav, unless they manually check every few minutes, they won't know the groups are there.
