When Did You Last Enter a Flight Zone, And Why? (L60)

I'm hoping this could be some constructive feedback and thoughts *fingers crossed* but this came up in our Free Company: there's very few times a disciple of war or magic has to ever fly other than Hunts, which aren't all that useful right now. I'd really love to find more reasons to enter the new expansion areas and have fun exploring them.

As a L60, when's the last time you flew, and why?

Hinterlands.

Because of Raiding.

That's literally the only reason why.

In terms of PVE, the game is pretty dry. I want to use the "3.0 just launched!" excuse, but the fact that the content is dry currently still remains. 3.1 doesn't seem to offer things that will hold much interest.

Im sure in 3.1 they will give us more reasons to go back to the new zones through the main story and side quests.

I go to the new zones pretty often. Hunts, FATES, gathering, treasure maps, job quests, sometimes just exploring to find nice places for screenshots or funny NPCs hidden in the field. (like that poor elezen holding on for dear life to the cliff in Western Coerthas)

Some times when I'm just bored yes bored there's a very big lack of end game content that's open world (when I say lack o mean none existent) no daily's to grind and ya we hate grinding we know but out side of dungeon runs for eso at level 60 there's little reason to be a war or magic discipline in the open worlds unless your leveling with fates.

As an actual combat class at 60, none. I stay around my FC house or in idyllshire. Now from 51+ you may see me in a fate group but that is about it.

and i was running around the dravavian lands and i couldnt reach the aether cause of cliffs and things so i said im going back to log off

As a DoW/DoM? I do my daily treasure maps (archeoskin/wyvernskin/dragonskin) and daily hunt bills (use them to by 27 Aetheryte Tickets for free teleports). On the other hand I rarely visit the old zones now.

As a fighter? I do sometimes tag along body-guarding gatherers, or looking for the B marks, and occasionally I'll fly around finding lovely lookout spots for screenshots. Actually, sometimes I fly around for the sake of flying - I love it!
