That defeats the purpose of Duty Finder, doesn't it? No, when I queue up with Duty Finder, I expect the dungeon to have any type of player to be put in a party with me, with the only requirement that we have the skill level and damage/heal output to complete the dungeon in an adequate time period REFLECTIVE of dungeon difficulty and player skill. I do not expect swift and efficient runs straight off the bat in Duty Finder. You want swift, efficient runs only? Make your own PF group and tick "Serious play with high-level gear".

As for cutscenes, this deserves repeating: You are holding up 3-7 other players with it. You are holding them hostage till 'you' say they can play or if we can keep going while you watch them (here's looking at you Praetorium) don't get mad when you finish and find you've missed 2 bosses, and the one being fought has only got like 25% of it's hp left. Skip them, and watch them later at the Inn as every single cutscene can be viewed from there. Again, if you want the immersion of watching them as they unfold, use party finder and find like minded individuals.
Funnily enough from my experience, it's not the person watching cutscenes who bitch and whine, its the 3-7 players being 'held hostage'. The person watching the cutscene has every right to watch them during their Duty Finder run, just as you have every right to go ahead and start bosses without them. Again, if you want fast runs without feeling you are 'held hostage', make your own PF group and tick "Serious play with high-level gear" and "Urgent".

Healer replies, nope not while I'm here.

We manage to scrape the kill alot harder than it needed to be.
Was this discussed before the pull, or was there a lack of communication until you were in the middle of the fight?

Honestly, while there are a lot of people that don't, many act exactly as bad as they are allowed to by the game and they feel entitled to it while doing it as well. So as long as the game facilitates people acting horribly and being toxic the number will most likely just grow.

Upon arriving at the boss I mentioned healer kite adds and melee lb boss when it pops up, this was greeted with silence until adds popped, the healer then started hurting abuse saying stupid dps should kite you noobs etc.

This dungeon I always explain first boss and last strat even if no news.

Healer proceeds to call us stupid dps the whole run, she managed to kill her tank friend numerous times with her awful healing.

Myself and the ninja just laughed it off as the tank healer only had 1 60 each so relatively new.

We exit the dungeon and who's standing next to me in the highlands? The healer.... She continues her toxic behaviour, to the blist you go!

This is the only strategy that makes this boss easier with all the adds that spawn fast. And yes the healer is supposed to kite since they will be filing hate immediately once they spawn. And just lol if the dps need to kill the boss fast how are they supposed to kite the adds.

I remember one run where I was healing and everything was going fine until near the end. I notice the BLM in the group was doing their rotation all wrong. They would do blizzard 3 until full Mp then start their fire rotation with fire 1 slowly working their way to 3 stacks of fire until they need mp again. When I pointed it out the BLM and the Tank called me a jerk, but I was just trying to help. Maybe it was the way I worded it. =/

I tell them to stop being a jerk, we argue a little bit back and forth, and we kick them. We got a new healer and finished the run without any other problems or deaths.
No comment on the attitude and all. However, once a boss is done, there is no reason to raise dead players. You're much better off to return, take the short cut back and be at full health ready to go without the weakness.

Theres also an option on PF for watching cutscenes, so the same could be thrown back at ya.

Yeah, I agree. I just think the way the healer handled it was wrong, especially considering the tank wouldn't have died if the healer hadn't stop healing them in the first place.

On the second DD boss, if the fight is in progress, and the healer doesn't have Swiftcast available (or maybe doesn't even have the ability at all), attempting to raise you will cause the healer to take massive damage, and possibly interrupt their cast anyway. There's no way they're going to be able to cast a long spell like that without getting hit by multple aoes. If the fight is over, you shouldn't WANT a raise - getting one will leave you with the weakness debuff. Release, and use the shortcut to get back.

Heck, on any boss fight in any dungeon, if you are on the ground when the boss is dead, or close enough to dead that you're sure the party isn't going to need you to finish the job, release, and use the shortcut (if the boss isn't quite dead, wait for that and THEN use the shortcut). You're doing yourself and the team a favor.

If the healer literally told you to "shove that revive up your ass", then yeah, he was being needlessly rude, but not raising you may have been the correct thing to do in that fight.
