I don't get the appeal of Female #21... It's a boring side ponytail. Whoopie. Looks like I'll be rocking my current hair for awhile longer. *sigh*

I was noticing that as well. I actually thought they were the same at first until I went back and realized the braid was on different sides.

I came in here to say this exactly.

A couple of the male entries with the highest votes probably have that many votes simply because of the nicely drawn models that are attached to the hair. I don't think those models would have been nearly as appealing if they were on the actual given template, rather than complementing the cute and bishōnen art style of everything below the hair.

Yeah, exactly. For example there's one that caught my eye the most because of the hairstyle itself and I bet it would've looked better with more artistic ability but it has low votes for that simple fact. #22 in this case. Another example: We already have a side ponytail hairstyle that looks very similar to #1 and the photo entry. Yet #1 has an insanely high amount of votes. I would like to think people want to see new and diverse things in hairstyles they could choose instead of similar hairstyles again.

Absolutely. The texture in #18 is to die for, and those gold bands... And I'm a huge fan of braided styles so.. haha yeah. Would really like more non-straight-hair styles. Gimme thick and roughly textured, tight curls, the whole nine yards!

I kind of like Female 18 in terms of being something different. It kind of reminds me of Missandei's hair from Game of thrones but with some dreadlocks thrown in. I had to enlarge to picture to really see what was going on in that one but I like that it is different from your normal hairstyles and it has a bit of a wildness to it.

Humbly and honestly, I am disappointed in the final selection for both categories. Now we are kind of forced to vote for one but it doesn't mean this expresses accurately what the community was looking for in hairstyles which I thought was the point of the contest (besides saving the Devs time in having to design one).

Same.. I kind of wish they'd just posted all of the entries and let us handle it ourselves lol.. I know there were probably hundreds (thousands?) but I think it would have been worth it to see the real response from the community. It's like we're saying "I'd sure love a strawberry right now" and they respond with "Here! Pick one of these vegetables!"

All those sidetail options and they all look similar. What a waste of space for other, better finalist options. Devs why do you do this? Just make a sidetail style independent of the contest if you want it in the game so badly.
