    This. If the item I'm selling is meant for level 45-60 players, I'll barely undercut the lowest bidder, assuming I undercut them at all. But if it's for someone below that, I just sell it at whatever price is reasonable.
    Exactly, I hate seeing low-level gear being sold at endgame prices. Sure, a few of the potential buyers have been around a couple years or more, have several level 60 jobs already, and are just leveling up a new alt class, but there's plenty of others who are just starting out and are getting only the slow trickle of gil that early game content gives. They need gear too, and aren't going to be spending the sort of gil you don't make until endgame. Prices should be appropriate to the item, which means pricing low-level gear towards the new player (or new character) market.

    Actually, most of the people buying gear from the MB are either buying leve turn ins or are leveling a second character. Questing gives enough gear that new players don't tend to look on MB for anything better.

    I don't recall getting ANY gear from questing after I did Ifrit and before the "prepping you for HW" quests. Everything I got was from dungeons.
