Neither involve you plunging a solid metal object into the ground, and then floating around as though it were a spoon moving through yoghurt.
I'd say it was debatable on something like Halone, indeed. I don't notice it, and main a loladin. But on Unleash? No. The animation itself creates the expectation of a fixed point. It's just poor, poor design.
"I can't help being bulky, I'm a real man."
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
I just want some more NOISE. I swear for a class wielding arguably the largest weapon in the game and summoning the inner rage as power we are as quiet as a newborn baby.
...Really? All that Unleash spam is NOT noisy to you?
Blood Sword + Blood Price (or whatever it's called)=makes me hate the sound effect of recovering MP.
The skating effect is real and I don't like it. The problem can be solved by acceleration that animation. It is too slow thus the skating effect lasts a while and it's quite visually annoying. By speeding it up it will be less visible.
Skating looks horrid for every job. It's the one thing that really breaks the connection I have with my (and other's) character.
I wonder why it is so hard for them to not have that happen. Only one thing comes to mind: PS3 limitations. :P
