Regardless of the reason. Native running speed should be increased in dungeons, to help account for latency or slow reactions and not require an extra button out of neccessity or convenience. Or if they insist on keeping sprint, remove the tp penalty for using it.

If the reason for it's existence beside getting somewhere, is being faster in fast paced battles, like an extra strategy button. Then I want a dash jump or dodge roll as well and they all should have their own separate energy meters.

    Divergence to Topic

I see the pros/cons and hear the arguments made by people but I would pose the following offering:

Why not in lieu of adding additional cross class skills, instead rework the existing skills over a set level limit.

Monk is my main, and love it to death, but I have always wondered why monks have MP. I would like to see a change in the gameplay where certain skills like Rockbreaker which seems to be based on an avatar style stone attack be able to become a Chi or MP attack making the AOE affect of the attack better. There are several others that would be cool to get a nerf like this, but I don't have time since I am working.

HP, TP and MP are basic stats for the character.
It's the various Jobs that will utilize one stat over another, or both in combination. Its essentially a byproduct of our ability to change Jobs on a single character.

Crafters and Gatherers don't have MP though, so you can't really say it's just a natural attribute of the character

We have MP and TP on every battle class because sprint uses TP(it shouldn't though) and a lot of the cross-class skills you can equip as a base class require MP. PUG can cast raise/cure/protect etc.

It's an MMO: New players have to start like the rest of us, we did it, so can they. They want to fly right away? Same.

MMOs are time-wasters. So starting from lvl 1-50, and after that to 60, ain't a big deal for MMO fans.

Play some Korean MMOs and you'll see what grinding is all about ^^

I'm up for new Cross-Class skills. Or making some available skills now to be cross-classed.

At least since we are lvl 60, adjust and add one slot for our cross-class, so I can Raise people

I'd just like a 6th cross class slot, and the ability to use one or two skills from rogue/machinist/astro/dark knight on other classes. Was so surprised neither of these things happened.

So, firstly, I wanted these new cross class skills not to be mandatory. Nobody should be forced to play clases to level 52 or 54. But, there should be an incentive for completionists and people, who want to max out their class, to do so. So I thought about cross class skills that deal with enmity or TP management, NOT Damage or Healing capacities. Secondly, AST can use cross class skills from scholar and whitemage, so they could use this skill as well, they, especially, would be the target group for this skill anyway.

That was exactly the plan. As described above, if you bring new cross class skills into the game and you need a Level 52 or 54 class to get them, they should by no way matter so much that they become mandatory. They should be useful for a handful of fights, situational, then they're designed right for that purpose.
