I have noticed that most of the 'bad pug stories' both here and on Reddit come from people in the Primal group, so maybe it doesn't work in pugs there. I don't know. I know I do it all the time on Aether (with exceptions like the iskalions and divine sordes etc. that are super annoying and must die) and have never seen a wipe caused by it. Neither as a sixty monk nor as a 50 whm/war/pld/mnk before HW.
