Assumption.

If you hear a guy on the street tell his friends, "Hey, we should hit the gym.", do you interrupt him and say "I don't need to go to the gym!"?

Except this isn't a conversation you are having with your buddy on the street. This is you holding a rally in the square (well more like standing on a box in the square trying to get people to listen) telling everyone within the sound of your voice that they are bored and perhaps its a good thing.
