Look at slot machines, they have zero what we would call content yet the people throw whole buckets of tokens in them because of the "reward mechanics".

Hopefully SE will continue to stay clear of such "tactics". At most, release smaller, more frequent patches so players will only be bored for short contiguous intervals.

Except this isn't a conversation you are having with your buddy on the street. This is you holding a rally in the square (well more like standing on a box in the square trying to get people to listen) telling everyone within the sound of your voice that they are bored and perhaps its a good thing.

Edit: Congrats I suppose, you have derailed my thread. Seems to happen with every thread I make. Maybe it's because I don't make threads that "play the crowd" but instead "inquire" into things that concern me. Someone will pick up one point (half the time out of context) that they aren't happy with then run the thread into the ground.
