    We don't need more Dark Arts effects on skills. DA already costs like 1/4 your mp bar to use and to add to that Blood Price had a 40 sec cd and doesn't work against magic attacks to regain mp. All you are asking for with more DA effects is to be more mana starved.

    now on topic for actual drk changes
    the few things that needs reworking is the skill synergy and job design.

    INT debuff, paired with dark arts/dark mind, gives us incredible resistence against magical attacks.
    so by design we seem to be a magical counterpart of PLDs.
    However, another part of out tool kit revolves around parrying, namely reprisal, which is arguably our best skill, and low blow reset.
    This requires us to be MT on bosses with physical attacks, yet our most powerful mitigation is magical...
    Also theres the weird blind/evasion dark arts effect for dark dance and passenger, which conflicts with our blood price MP regen.

    so my proposed changes are

    Darkside: enables parrying of magic attacks, additional MP is consumed upon successful parrying of a magic attack.
    Dark Arts/Dark Passenger: The potency increase is remains the same, adding additional enmity modifier and/or change the aoe to a cone instead of straight line.
    Dark Arts/Dark Dance: Regains TP upon a successful parry.
    Reprisal: aside from being able to be proc'd by a parry, using Dark Arts will force it to proc, ofc it consumes the dark arts effect. CD can ideally be shortened to 20 seconds so we can upkeep it on the boss, at the cost of having to manage an extra Dark Arts MP cost.

    Dark Arts does not need to cost 1/4 of the mp bar, it could be adjusted...

    One thing i find about the drk stance is that it looks like a defensive stance with the sword covering the body in a frontal view. not so with sephiroth's.

    As far as changes to drk. I think it would be nice if, like souleater, mp gain abilties like siphon strike and carve and split can be affected(improved) by stats, rather than a fixed number. As fixed calculated numbers make having a changing max mp number hard to justify.
