Let's also not forget the cryptic "hint" video they released for AV.
I think it'd be cool to have a similar system to ZNMs in this game, but something manageable within a given time frame.

What kind of person would want a boss fight that is either unkillable or last 18 hours? Sorry but no thanks. The thought that they even did such a thing in any MMO is mind boggling.
Please explain to me what purpose making an unbeatable boss serves to the player or community as a whole. Sounds like some developers dream of stroking his ego.
I dunno. Some people seem to like the idea of slamming their heads against an immovable wall until they figure out the solution. Isn't that what point and click adventure games are for?
As long as they don't do the stupid "take pictures of mobs mid battle thing."
We had to implement a freaking No Photography rule in our Dynamis shell because people were so busy taking pictures of the durn bosses they didn't do the mechanics!
Oh good grief, that crap can die in a fire. I liked how ZNM progression worked, and there were some fun fights in the mix, but the picture part was silly. lol
Why am I now imagining your linkshell in Dynamis going, "Black Mage, sleep the mobs. Black Mage? WTF ARE YOU DOING?" *click*
