I never understood what Tanaka's team intention was with those two superbosses. They kept moving the goalpost on Absolute Virtue, and I can't help but wonder if they even play-tested Pandemonium Warden before releasing it.

I find it rather telling that those two advisory screens were there under Tanaka's direction, where they designed the game to compel you to play for hours with slow sense of progress. Notice how under Yoshi-P's much more casual friendly design, there's no "A Word to Our Players" there?
