Pretty much what I had, except I went with Gordian Staff and Sohm Al Tart for higher Crit (also because they're cheap and easy to make :P): http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/R9O8

I'm curious to know if 81 Det and 35 Spell Speed is better than 115 Crit though.

DET is too low. I've got models for Dragoon, Summoner, Monk and White Mage now. They all hover around the 0.14-0.16 mark. Arisue_Neetsha (JP Theorycrafter) has come to the same conclusion with is Bard Data as well. And how did you get Crit? Did you use the actual formula we should be using? ((CRT-354)/(858*5)+0.05 or +1.45?

This was the same set I have been working towards. With the amount of both crit and ss I feel it outweighs the ss and det on the eos staff

I figured Crit is probably better but again, if I don't have Battle Litany from Dragoon, I commonly get 0% crit opener. I've got an A3S where after twin hands I had 1% crit. If you're aiming for more Crit, swapping Food + Weapon is about right ;o

Yeah... I just feel this is extremely low lol. Spell SPeed is static at least, BLM don't have anything to increase their Crit like Internal Release x.x The only thing is Battle Litany D:

Ye. I mean, my weights and calculations all say "yeah crit is FTW!" but in reality... I don't think this really is the case until we're actually at i210, or even, at patch 3.2 where I'm expecting 22-24% CRT across all Jobs, lol.

I do use that formula. For future reference, formulas are right there to look at in the secondary tab. As for Det all I can really say is that this formula is what I derived with a startlingly high correlation so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I didn't start out with a vendetta against determination or anything if that's what you're implying.

I never implied thaaaaaaaaaat! I mean I cannot say for sure, I have absolutely no Data on Black Mages at hand so I cannot begin to invalidate your work. But, I'm just pointing out that your DET is lower than the current trend for 5 jobs, which is... Odd? To say the least. I mean maybe that is the case, and jobs mysteriously scale DET differently. I have no clue!.

My formula could be wrong, but since the correlation is as high as it was and since I will eventually be redoing the formula when i210 and i220 gear is more widespread, I really don't feel like throwing another ten thousandish blizzards at a test dummy until we have new gear and the formula will need to be refined.

I will say this since I'm being objective- I did something similarly but privately for ARR and found that Det was worth about as much as Crit point for point and we know Crit got relatively buffed in that its contribution to your DPS inflated due to the change in how crit rate works. We also know that det's value for auto attacks got changed. I believe they did these changes so that the secondary stats would be weighted about equally in an attempt to further homogenize the gear in this game because the developers are drunk.

In ARR Det was incredibly valuable for the majority of classes sans Black Mage. If their nerf to it was universal, then for Black Mages all this would do is decrease the relative value of Det. Hence why it is so much lower. Recall the fact that DET used to be penalized on gear at a rate of about root 2. If you multiply (or divide, depending) the current weight of Det by root 2, you get a value that indicates that Det is slightly behind Crit in value point for point as it was in ARR.
