Mateus is completely out of small plots, there are a few mediums and larges kicking around at the moment though.

I don't think I've seen anyone from Siren respond: we have 3 plots left in lavender beds, all mansions. No plots in the Mist. and a whopping....60 plots in the Goblet of varying sizes. The Goblet is clearly the least favorite zone on my server, and there are many many inactive players there. The mist has many inactives as well. I have a personal house and I helped my FC get a house as well. Fully devalued, the prices are typically 1-2 mil for a small, 16-17 mil for a med, and 41-42 mil for a large. Zalera's pricing is dirt cheap(21 mil for a mansion!), but it's hard to make gil there; their MB is really unstable, which is a huge reason why I moved.

I would pay even 10M for small in Lavender Beds.. hope when they come with the transfers to Ishgard I will be fast enough, faster than people with their alts.

The biggest issue was allowing people to buy more than one house. There are FCs and people the own entire wards on Gilgamesh just so they could sell them for insane prices.

They have plans, although unclear and only address the symptom, not the problem.

MMORPG.de: A lot of players complain about the housing situation. They want to buy a house, but it is impossible to find free plots on some worlds. Are there any plans to improve the situation?

NY: Yes, we are working on it, and there are three phases. The first step is working on abandoned houses, so there’s no owner, or player there actually. The second step is to make it available to players that they can move house. There is no system in game yet that can help you to change the house, so we want to help and support this in the game. With these two steps we will be able to have some empty plots. Then we want to see if we have to open up an Ishgard plot or add more plot to the existing areas. That is the third step. We want to be careful here and judge the situation first. We are working on step 1 and 2 already. There will be some updates, probably in patches 3.1 to 3.15, around this time.

I wish they went the Wildstar route and let everyone buy a piece of plot for a reasonable price. Everyone can have a house, because there is a house for everyone. I hate how its a race to buy them in FFXIV and other games like Archeage.

So by random happenstance I was at the miner's guild in Ul'Dah, and discovered the Goblet entrance via the underground tunnel. Out of curiosity I poked around the address book and discovered the Plot 18 in Ward 6 was miraculously for sale for a mere four million gil. Unable to believe my eyes, certain that a transaction must be occurring in front of it, I ran to the estate. Nobody was there. Just the "for sale" placard.

There was a house available in the Goblet on Lamia server 15 minutes ago.

There is not one now.

I have a feeling you're going to hate me, but, I came back to the game with under 50,000 gil about a week and a half ago. I was the ONLY player that had logged on in my FC for like 4(?) months and automatically became the FC leader. I booted the people who never logged back in after a week and now I am the sole member of Mercenaries on Excalibur with my private FC home :O

So try advertising for members. Just remember to check the FC rank privileges and change them do new members have limited vault access for a while.
