I sincerely doubt we'll see one about Haurchefant. It'd be nice since he's a fan favorite but honestly he's a pretty minor character in the grand scheme of things.

Alas, it's true! Poor guy doesn't even have a unique model. Heck his half-brothers at least have unique outfits.

...Not that I wouldn't love a Haurchefant short. He's one of my favorite characters in this game (second perhaps only to Hraesvelgr since I have a Dragon Problem)

I'd say he's more important than Minfilia...though thinking about that, its not all that hard to be...

From SE's point of view I feel he is. Aymeric, Edmont, Estinien, Ysayle, the Scions and Alphinaud seem to be the primary movers and shakers and they seem to be the sorts of characters these shorts are about.

Of couuuuurse....I hope I'm wrong. I would love to learn more about him. He's a great and interesting character and, yes, I also appreciate him more than I do Minfilia. My WoL probably does too...

If I am wrong and he gets a story I will come here and admit I was wrong and I will be DELIGHTED I was wrong.

Ysayle seems to be listed on the site as a major lore figure. IDK if that means we haven't seen the last of her. Count Edmont is too and we don't know him well either (outside of being Haurchefant's dad as well as Our Humble Narrator)

I wouldn't be surprised at all if she's somehow involved in the Estinien/Nidhogg plot thread to try and draw parallels between her and Estinen and Shiva and Hraesvalgr.

I suspect something like that will happen.

I also think Haurchefant will come up again, despite my "relatively minor character" statement. Not alive, but he'll come up, probably. SE has to be aware of how popular he is. But that's a different conversation from this topic entirely.
