You're giving me flashbacks of all the speculation we had going during Tales from the Calamity, lol. Granted, we got a lot of what we hoped for and most of the rest showed up later, so I'd actually encourage people to talk about all the stuff they want to know more about. I see things in the game all that time that make me wonder if they were smuggled in as a response to people asking questions and making comments here (especially, but not limited to, when Merlwyb articulated her regret and anger at how she was rushed out in 2.55).

Given that Ysayle is probably dead-dead (not only-mostly-dead), I think you're right that it'd be nice to know what she found in her conversation with Midgardsormr and how that led her to the cost-benefit analysis of "Summoning a primal is for the greater good!" Urianger hinted Ascian involvement more than once and I don't remember seeing much of a confirmation of that. The only thing I would have been disappointed if they'd neglected completely was the what have I done moment between her as an antagonist in 2.4 and suddenly our teammate in 3.0; I'm glad we at least got that.

I read the first one and absolutely loved it. I wish more people would discuss things like this than make 500 useless threads complaining about game mechanics. (Granted, I've made my fair share of complaining threads, but still). Anyone know when the next one is coming out?

Each is one week from the last. If you look at the little buttons at the top, they have the dates: August 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th.

Remember that we were, at one point, promised a short story explaining just how Ysayle and Hrae came to peace and why he bore her to the confrontation with the new Garlean dreadnought. Presumably that will be one of the stories posted - I suspect it's either next, or as the most "important" one, it's being saved for last.

As for the other two? Haurchefant because everyone loves Elfbro and it can also develop the other Fortempts characters some by association, and Hilda, since she's obviously going to play a role going forward.

My guesses are Hilda, Count Edmont and Ysayle for the other three. I sincerely doubt we'll see one about Haurchefant. It'd be nice since he's a fan favorite but honestly he's a pretty minor character in the grand scheme of things. He might get a mention in a Count Edmont short though.
