Except we already know that red mage is not on the cards for the initial job list.

Finally, someone else realizes that. White mage and Black Mage are the first two jobs coming out for casters.
I'll give you that CON could be Black or White, but THM is no way shape or form a Black Mage. Process of elimination makes White mage for THM and Black Mage for CON.
Black Mages are, in EVERY FF, an elemental based nuker. THM is not really a nuker, even THM nukes give a debuff, and no way elemental based.
Thaumaturge even defines as "Miracle Worker" (See Wikipedia). How much more connected to divine and healing do you guys want. I understand a lot of people argue the CON already has the heals, that does not mean the optional job for THM is not gaining those heals or other ones.

Could you please tell where does this come from? I missed official information regarding this matter, I guess.
PS: By the way, I'm not tellin' our job will be RDM.
English is not my mother language. I'm trying to do my best, so please don't be rude...

That information was released in a interview in a magazine that was in Japanese. You didn't miss it as much it really wasn't put forth in the English speaking community.
Here is the highlights of that interview.
Interview from "Famitsu Connect-On" magazine posted on the Official JP Forum.
All translations courtesy of Kristina_Farron from the Official Forum.
Highlights
1.18 will include a visible "Hate Meter" in addition to the adjustments to the Hate Algorythms.
Healing spells will be split into single target Cure and AOE Curega in 1.18.
Ifrit battle goes live 1.19.
The Materia system will be introduced in 1.19 as the main source of "uber" gear (ie better than NM drops).
The finalized job names so far are: Paladin, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, Dragon Knight, and Bard.
In the future, they hope to add "Combined Jobs" with multi-class requirements (ie Conjurer + Thaumaturge = RDM).
A summer event is currently in the works (FFXIV needs moar bells).
The developers view the PS3 release as FFXIV's "last chance."

Seriously in no way does what you misquoted say the jobs they mentioned are coming in the first round. That information was released in a interview in a magazine that was in Japanese. You didn't miss it as much it really wasn't put forth in the English speaking community.

It says those are the jobs planned and decided that in no way confirms them as coming in the first round.ジョブシステムで実装予定しているジョブは、決定しているものが、ナイト、モンク、白魔導士、黒魔導士、竜騎士、吟遊詩人(ジョブ名はすべて仮称)※たぶん、戦士を言い忘れたと思われる。
For job system the jobs that are planned and decided are Paladin, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, Dragoon, Bard (Job names are temporary) *Probably forgot to say Warrior.

sooo. who the hell gets bard. That information was released in a interview in a magazine that was in Japanese. You didn't miss it as much it really wasn't put forth in the English speaking community.

they could give thm bard have con have bl and white mage(i know they said one per class, doesn't mean they have to stick with it) and then go dark knight and some sort of ranger.
beings that bard does not suit arch or mar, id have to say this is a plausible idea.

Going off OP topic but I'll throw my two cents in here.sooo. who the hell gets bard.

My Guess archer would get bard. Jobs are to create diversity in class and honestly, what else fits with archer, even remotely?
http://www.ffcompendium.com/h/jobs.shtml
Jobs list from all FF to date.
BOLD = Might work for archer
Archer - Uses bows and arrows
Bard - Sings to cause effects
Beastmaster - Controls other monsters
Berserker - Attacks uncontrollably
Black Mage - Uses magic to harm enemies
Blue Mage - Learns enemy skills
Chemist - Uses items more effectively
Dancer - Dances to cause effects
Dark Knight - Sacrifices self to cause damage
Dragoon - Uses spears and jump attacks
Fighter - Physical fighter who uses various attacks.
Gambler - Abilities are based on chance
Geomancer - Uses spells related to battlefield
Gunner - Uses rifles or pistols
Knight - Physical class that relies exclusively on high defense and attack.
Magic Knight - Combines black magic and physical attacks
Mime - Copies the last action by an ally
Monk - Fights with bare hands and chakra
Ninja - Throws items to cause damage
Onion Knight - has no abilities, but can equip special equipment and various abilities based on other jobs.
Paladin - Combines physical strength with white magic and can cover allies.
Red Mage - Can cast white and black magic
Samurai - Throws money at enemy to cause damage
Scholar - Can look at enemy statistics
Soldier - Sword user who reduces enemy stats.
Summoner - Summons huge monsters to fight
Thief - Steals from enemy
Time Mage - Uses magic to speed up or slow down actions
Warrior - Initial sword user class.
White Mage - Uses magic to heal allies
and from FF11
Bard
Beastmaster
Black Mage
Blue Mage
Corsair
Dancer
Dark Knight
Dragoon
Monk
Ninja
Paladin
Puppetmaster
Ranger
Red Mage
Samurai
Scholar
Summoner
Thief
Warrior
White Mage
so let see what have to work with with those two lists.
Archer, Bard, Beastmaster, Gambler, Corsair and Ranger.
Well an archer is an archer, that one is out. Gambler and Corsair are the same class and Corsair uses a gun. Musketeer is already been announced so; I would guess that they are getting that one, if it comes out. Ranger is just another word for archer that lives in the woods and the archers in FF14 already do that, but I'll keep that as an option for argument sake.
So all we have left is Bard, Beastmaster, and Ranger. I don't see Ranger coming out because it would bring very little to the class. Beastmaster would be an awesome addition to the archer and bring something new to class. Bard would also bring something new to the archer class and thus be a good job for it. Remember, jobs are intended to add a party role to a class, and bard would do that for an archer.
Just my line of thinking.

when i think of jobs i think of you as a class being hired(job) to do something special. so for me id like to see archer get some sort of crossbow assassin job. that's just the way i see it.
i cant imagine you show up as an archer and someones like hey guy, can you sing.
who knows
add: for the cross bow assassin class i made up have things like:stealth, shoot from further distance, and, umm, i cant think of anything else right now oh and maybe some sort of stealth shot were the mob doesn't know were the shot came from so you can get a second shot in before it engages you.

That could work. My major concern is the fact bards have always used ranged harps and flutes as weapons. The current armory system how would put in a weapon like a harp in? Bows, at least, fill the ranged part of the harp.when i think of jobs i think of you as a class being hired(job) to do something special. so for me id like to see archer get some sort of crossbow assassin job. that's just the way i see it.
