Real Talk: Highlanders need eyebrows

So why on earth don't the women Highlanders do the same? I doubt in the war-like society that the has fairly muscular women too would abstain from having them fight as well.

Alternatively, it's been years since Ala Mhigo has fallen, you'd think some of them would have their eyebrows back by now.

ppl don't just abandon traditions, and customs, just cause they moved elsewhere (or they wouldn't even make a fuss about having to leave ala'mhigo)...actually, since they had to flee, they are probably more keen to keep up traditions, and make a statement.

But the characters we play aren't part of their heritage, really. They are just adventurers - wanderers, who travel around. Generally without a "hometown" so to speak. Hell, my hometown is Ul'Dah, according to my character's profile (and job choice at the start).

I'm not sure what logic you're following but I'm not buying it. Nowhere does the game tell me I'm from Ala'Mhigo, and I have a difficult time believing that EVERY HIGHLANDER MALE shave their eyebrows. There will always be outliers, exceptions, black sheeps to customs and traditions.

It should be toggleable (or preferable never implemented at all) I kinda miss my Highlander and want to switch back, but the fake, drawn in eyebrows annoyed me too much.

Yeah, I know... I don't see why they are so against giving highlanders an eyebrow option. They did it on male Au Ra, Roes, and Miqo'tes. So why not highlanders?

I'm sure this has been mentioned before. I don't know if there was ever an official response, but if not, it's long overdue.

Highlanders NEED eyebrows. Nothing causes someone to say, "he looks a little off, but I can't quite put my finger on it..." like missing eyebrows.

For goodness sake, Au Ra have the option to choose yes or no to eyebrows! I mean, of course we can use face paint to have pseudo-brows, but then we end up like this: http://i.imgur.com/Wh9MTIW.gif

In the end, Highlander Hyur is my favorite race. I'm sure everyone has something they don't like about their race, but nothing as drastic as missing eyebrows.

Please, for the sake of all that is good in the world, add an eyebrow option to Highlanders.

I can kinda understand that no eyebrows can be intimidating and explains why even Auri males have the option to toggle it off/on since they're very war-like and at the very least they learned from the eye browless Highlander male complaints

When I made my character, I wanted to make my character the meanest looking one, so I got what is probably the ugliest face, but damn he looks mean. I never notice that he didn't have eyebrows until I saw an earlier thread about the lack of eyebrows on the Highlanders. I didn't realize that is one of the reasons he looks mean, but it bothered me to Hell that he doesn't have eyebrows now that I know it. I ended up with the painted eyebrows anyways. It stills looks good if it's black with black hair and he still looks mean, but I wish I had real eyebrows instead. My Beatles mop top and eye patch does tend to hide the fact of this issue though, so there's at least that.

This. People can't use the lore excuse because of this. If anything it's Ps3 limitations... Honestly I wouldn't care if they removed one of our tattoo options, one of our scar options, or even the muscle slider(let's be real here, who doesn't use 100% muscle on highlander?) to give us eyebrows.

Also, if people want to use lore as an excuse, how does shaving off your eyebrows, and then turning around and painting on fake eyebrows make any sense at all?

I doubt it's PS3 limitations, the horns on the Au Ra probably take up a LOT more memory. Hell, even the tails on a Miqo'te probably do too.
