Well I was curious on how it does not work, I've just copied the link from the postimg.org - weird. Do they work now? I've tried another website.

Yep they work now.

Hotlinking is where a website/server pulls the image directly from another server/site and it is not a client program requesting the image i.e Internet explorer, firefox, chrome, ect
Most sites to reduce bandwidth and to make the viewer actually be on their website will disable the ability to hot link.
imgur.com is a great site if you are wanting to post pictures here as they offer the ability to hotlink at no charge and the service is free to upload pictures.
