BOOM! Also using the word "sufficient" was weak of them. They should have said players must have completed ALL of the MSQ.

It doesn't even take that long in retrospect to get to heavensward. But it's just as well, if fetch quests turn you off you're playing the wrong game anyway.

"sufficient progress in the main scenario" isn't very descriptive. Considering I had saved the world by lv50, one would think I have made sufficient progress.

"Shouldn't exist"? What the hell? If you have followed the story AT ALL, you would have had enough information as to why you CAN'T get to Ishgard. The only reason you can get to Ishgard is what happens in 2.55 story.

Allowing people who have not finished 2.55 into Ishgard would be an incredibly gaping plot-hole.
