Well at level 53 every job plays pretty much the same as 2.0
Not sure why people are doing it so often, since while jerks are not uncommon, they are a minority.
Also people who parse or care about dps that is not horrible, in dungeons are lame.
You just seem to be very unlucky.
I would report any one who is publicly shaming you, would make your server a better place.

Are you sure you're not acting like an ass in the groups, or something? Because I've ever seen anyone speak about dps numbers outside FC chat, most people seem very careful about it. Not trying to blame you, it's just super strange, cause I've seen some atrocious DPS numbers with everyone quiet.

Anyway, let me clear a couple misconceptions you seem to have..

First, most (not all, most) people who have a parser have it for the sake of self improvement. Seeing other people's performance is just an added bonus.

Second, calling it a hack is very much overdoing it. It's a basic tool that should be a part of the game in the first place - it's a tool without which the DPS have no idea if they're doing amazing or terrible. I'd say every single DPS player who wants to do endgame content should have it.

Missing a way to determine your DPS as a DPS-role is the equivalent of a healer healing without seeing healthbars and just hoping they're healing enough to keep the team alive.

Yes the game is getting too complicated and vague than it needs to be. So much to the point some players fail to understand simpler things because they believe that the game is vague and complex therefore the simple things can't be simple. Like some BLM players honestly believe more speed ruins their "entire" rotation.

Probably a bunch of jerks- it happens. I wouldnt worry about it too much. Also keep in mind its not SE fault, they arent to blame here. If you feel you ae wrongfully treated, than report them. If this game is causing you stress, maybe it is time to find another form of entertainment.

Myeah, especially considering that DF isn't server specific, so it can't be just one server having a super elitist type of a culture.

Reading the combat log and mathing it out isn't exactly hacking the game.

Well, Parsing isn't hacking. And parse are kinda required for raiding

Either the OP has had a uniquely terrible chain of experiences with unnecessarily rude or exacting people in DF or something else is wrong, whether it's related to DPS numbers or something else.

If I were regularly getting feedback from strangers that my DPS seemed low, I would parse myself or have a friend parse (if I were a PS player) during a run of the same dungeons to get an idea of what's really going on. I find it common with BLMs and DPS in general that many players can at least do okay on a dummy, but they drop off dramatically when faced even with basic mechanics because they haven't had enough practice maintaining their rotations in actual gameplay.

This is really odd to hear. I play BLM and I have never been kicked from a dungeon for low DPS. I was kicked once for not using sleep in dusk vigil though. XD (Like who uses sleep anymore?! lol I know it can be used under certain scenarios, before anyone jumps down my throat.)

It is especially odd that they would be doing this on leveling content as said above. Usually I have had very pleasant experiences with the FF14 community. I agree with what seems to be the general consensus in that the group or groups you were in, were just lame. They may have been speed running, but if that was the case, they shouldn't use duty finder (Assuming you used duty finder for those dungeons.)
