I'm just saying, but the OP has called most of what is going on in the crafter world right now. And we do get dev (well community team, that's not technically the same, but whatever!) posts, they just dont usually post on their offical accounts.

You may want to take a breath if you're using words like "immoral" and "evil" when talking about loot in a game.

I think it's kind of refreshing to see someone actually just saying things how they are, instead of minding their words.
Also, this topic is not about loot in the game, its about the time you pay for with your subscription.


Altho I personally consider ''evil'' the wrong choice of words. After all that implies intent rather seemingly random decisions.
Perhaps, to take a note of SE's own lore; ''Chaotic'' would be more appropriate, yes?

All I get from this line is that you're saying that times when people are screwed over happens a lot in the real world. Poorly thought out or not, you didn't very clearly express it there, and that was not the core of OP's argument.

The vast majority of his post was dramatically stating how SE screwed us by resetting our progress while lounging around their dark laboratory maniacally rubbing their hands together like Mr. Burns. They raised the fricken level cap. Did people think we were gonna be crafting Kirikimu leathers with our Lucis post-expansion? The main gripe in his post is about the reset. Not the lack of recipes, not the favors and not the red scrips. The reset itself was hardly cloak and dagger and if people were shocked that everything they did in 2.x expired, they probably should have paid more attention.

Perhaps you dont remember, but I remember the OP mentioning fully melding the i150 set in anticipation of the red scrips and new recipes being introduced. This leads me to believe that what he means is not physically reset, but spiritually: crafters were lead to believe they could spend their time crafting in this game. Then that priviledge was taken away from them. Or reset, as he calls it.

All of the time you spend years of believing you could enjoy this game just gathering or crafting, or mainly do either instead of exclusively; all that time is now worthless. You used to be able to make things of use with a small or medium time investment; now you spend a lot of time for..nothing at all.


Maybe its just me reading too much into the OP, but as I see it it isnt that hard to see at all..
