I literally didn't know the game existed prior during a lot of the previous events, it's not SE's fault for that, but it's sure as heck isn't my fault either.

I'm saying the time and effort it took you to get those items wouldn't be comparable to the same items I got with that 100 gil I earned from selling that useless spear I picked up from the sastasha.

I think that it would take longer to do Sastahsa than it did to do the event quests. They were neither hard nor long. If anything, you waited an entire year for the gear, my reward was having it for a year before you.

The dyes are actually cash shop exclusive, so I think you're misinformed. Metallic red, blue, etc are not from ventures.

You literally just proved that the metallic red blue green are not there. They are cash shop only. You cannot even buy them with the RaF feathers or anything.

This stuff really needs to stop. Even though I completely encourage and support the cash shop, It's silly that and in-game event item in a Pay2Play MMO is turning it into a cash shop thing when people could get it for free before. Why not just let you obtain it during each year like FFXI did?

All these microtransactions really add up if you miss events, and this is a pay to play game, and these items were obtainable via in-game means.

The cash shop should be used for "unique" things if they are gonna go this route, not this stuff. Please continue selling me things on top of my subscription fee.

Only that they've taken their first steps into the cash-shop-exclusive-dye territory, and one of a few steps into the cash-shop-exclusive-vanity territory.

Edit: Misread your post. As Titor says below, all dyes in the cash shop are exclusive to the cash shop, and all dyes not in the cash shop are exclusive to the game.

All of the cash shop dyes /are/ exclusive. The retainer venture dyes are not in the cash shop and vice versa.
