How is your "BiS" List bis, if dex is weighed at 1.000 and everything else a portion of 1? wouldnt taking a dex increase over anything be better as long as your accuracy capped?

Also as someone who is new to this game what does "WD" stand for

Ok, so recently came back to FFXIV, was in a dungeon and saw a character who looked very suave with his big pistol and thought..that's for ME!! Do I have it right that if I'm starting a new character from scratch with the intention of becoming a machinist that I level any other job (most likely archer to get cross class abilities) to 30 and then switch to MCH? I just want to make sure I can't get access to it any sooner? Thanks in advance!

You need to be able to access Heavensward to get MCH. Dunno how long of a break you took from FFXIV so I'm just throwing that info out there.

Yeah luckily my main was able to do the starting quest for it so I have that unlocked thanks! I guess that's another question...this new character will be on a different server will that matter?

I've got a question.

Is it better to save reload for the 2nd wildfire, or is it better to use it and wait for it to come off CD again before using the second wildfire?

save Reload but use Quick Reload imo

but then again, everything is situational for MCH so it depends on the fight and mechanics

Reload is a 60 sec cd

Wildfire is 90 sec cd

So every other wildfire will get ur reload, use it on cd

Uh... yeah. Your new character won't have HW unlocked in the story so you can't get MCH.

I wish the OP would come back to update their guide, but a couple things that should be mentioned.

Turret is effected by both Food and Pots (important for Hypercharge usage as the effect of the POT would be basically doubled)

Thoroughly tested the Skill Speed stat and the Turret is unaffected by it at all (through either attack speed or attack damage)
well, as thorough as I could, but I didn't see a difference adding 200 skill speed. so either there is no effect or it is so ridiculously low that you would need way too much SPD to notice.
