It was our original plan but after several wipes to tanks getting cleaved (drk+war) they decided to F it and do it like they do now, in 2 separate piles. tanks..."Above 900" is a pretty low bar. My mch is i186 with hive weapon and I pull 1035 on a dummy easy, often above 1050. And this is with >150ms of latency.
Psst...tell your tanks to each pick up two dolls and then immediately run through each other. Speaking as a pld main it's legit the fastest and easiest way to pull this wave and you end up with all four dolls in a neat pile in the center.![]()

Definitely not my best performance, but running OBS makes my game laggy enough that playing optimally while recording is really hard.
If anyone has any advice or can see any mistakes I'm making (aside from obvious stuff like 2:51) I'd appreciate it, I still don't feel like I understand this class completely. Also, I realized after posting he said "3-4 minute parse", not "3:40 minute parse"--3:40 parses seem to be standard, so that's what I did, but obviously I'm not pulling 1050 at the 3 minute mark, and I wouldn't be if I continued to 4 (usually I'm around 1010 at 4 minutes).

Surprised that DET affects turret and not SS tbh. As a MCH who had 740 SS last raid period I can say it does feel smooth, especially with Selene giving fey wind, buy you blow through TP like its nobodies business, if it was not for phase changes, I would be dry very early (before 3:30 early). While I do not think SS is useless, I will say that DET and CRIT will still out shine it a lot more. Crit due to the multipliers, and Det because obviously base damage, and now the new information of turret damage. If you're a career Machinist, the two following posts between myself and Judge_Xero are of importance and you should definitely read it:

so you can reset a turrets autos manually by either
hypercharging (hypercharged attacks reset the timer, and then normal attacks after hypercharge wears off resets it as well)
or
summoning a new turret. the best way to gain dps is to do it 0.5s before it shoots (so that your current turret despawns right after it shoots), then triggering your new turret to attack mode asap. in gauss barrel you need to use an ability or weaponskill; outside of it, your auto attack mode will automatically trigger it. so gauss off+replacing turret is probably a match made in heaven. you could also just load up on a proc as well.
they're both pretty annoying if you want to consistently reset turret autos for a dps increase, but the latter is nice to know, that even repositioning your turret can be a dps increase if you do it right
anyway, here's two useful macros for turret placement. same concept as flaming arrow macro.

So the first post says to keep gauss barrel up but everywhere else I read to toggle it off? When do you determine when to turn on gauss barrel and when to turn it off?

From what I know you toggle Gauss Barrel off after you're done with your opener for the next 7 seconds or so before turning it on again (since Gauss Round will be off CD at this point and you need to reapply Lead Shot).
After that, you try to turn whenever you're personally comfortagble with turning it of but general rule of thumb should be as follows:
1. Are your OGCD abilities that deal damage (Ricochet, Gauss Round, Blank, Head Graze/Suppresive Fire) on CD?
If yes, turn GB off.
If no, turn GB on and use them if GB is not already active
2. Do you need to reapply Lead Shot?
Yes: Turn GB on
No: Turn GB off and if GB is not active then leave it at thatuntil a OGCD comes up for use or you need to reapply Lead Shot again
Usually you'll end up with being without GB for~ 5-7 seconds depending on how your CD's are aligning when you turn it off, so I personally am not really sure it actually makes sense to stance dance but I'm still doing it.
Do note, as weapon damage and side stats increase, stance dancing gets worse due to scaling.

I'm fairly positive that increased weapon damage will not make stance dancing worse.
Secondary stats will though, but it would take quite a bit of them. your GCD needs to be about 2.22 or so for stance dancing to yield no benefit. I'm not sure how much det or Crit are needed to make stance dancing meaningless.
