I'm not all surprised. Welcome to the new age of MMOs people. The emote thing, they really didn't have to do it at all but it did come with last year's event. Seems only fitting to have it up there as well.

Is bomb dance a new emote? I don't recall it.

It was part of last summer event. Everyone who did it last year already have it.
It was also part of the summer event 2012, but it got removed after summer event 2012 ended.

So, the emote is 3 years old.
And everyone who joined after summer event 2012 have not paid a single $ into the creation of the emote with their sub.

But aren't those minions obtainable by.. simply doing the story of the game?
Why would you buy them when inevitably you will get them anyway, since you need to finish the story to do anything in end game.

That's not true. After the start of the 2.0 version, and prior to the cash shop, you could buy the items from previous years' event during said event with gil.

To give those who have not played 1.x the chance to get it also for free. SE understand that they can't expect players to have played 1.x

Finally I can get the Yukata, ever since the announcement of putting old event stuff on the cash-shop it was clear that this would end up there. Just be happy that bomb dance is seperate if you don't actually want it so it doesn't raise the cost of the Yukata itself.
No, I am not defending the system, but people already showed them they are up for buying stuff from the shop, it's there now. It won't disappear anymore. Reminder that people buy RNG stuff in phone games for more than what anything on the store costs.

Not really excited about this, don't care about the emote but the Yukata was a want but its only 1 of 3 pieces? $3 a piece assuming they add, they want $9 for a full set, now will admit its cheaper than maplestory where you only rent the outfit for 3 months but still. For a subscription based game, this is kinda nuts. Least sell it as a full set.
