It was an indirect nerf. Before, there was a bug where if you used a skill with a long animation before a skill with a quick animation, a single Dark Arts would boost both of those hits.
They fixed that though, and it indirectly nerfed us quite a bit.

Cool thanks for info, gonna have to change my rotation slightly then. Hopefully closer to 960-70 with a bit more time on the dummy. Practice makes perfect right? Opener is the only part that really overwhelms, since you double ogcd damn near everything and need to do it quick and perfect to hit those numbers, after that most things line up and you only need to do it occasionally.
I would suggest just skipping the dummy for the most part after you have an idea of your rotation. Most fights are different in layout and require different approaches to skill usage. A Dummy parse doesn't always translate to what your dps for a certain fight will look like which is what matters I'm the big picture. 1k dps on a dummy is cool and all but doesn't really matter as much as your dps in an actually encounter. Unless you just wanna see what the class is capable of.Cool thanks for info, gonna have to change my rotation slightly then. Hopefully closer to 960-70 with a bit more time on the dummy. Well a dummy parse helps you with your rotation and helps you find the optimal rotation. Sure, things in a fight change, but as long as you have a general idea of what your rotation should be, you should be able to slide back into it at any given point. Furthermore, given that most of Alexander Savage is a dps check, maximizing your dps on all fronts is very important. It's not so much about the numbers you get on the dummy as much as it is about the numbers letting you know you're doing it right, if you get what I mean.I would suggest just skipping the dummy for the most part after you have an idea of your rotation. Oh of course was just saying don't obsess over it to much. I've seen far to many people practice on a dummy for days only to wonder why they did so poorly in the actual encounter.Well a dummy parse helps you with your rotation and helps you find the optimal rotation. I can currently do 1.1k on savage Faust. He's kinda like a training dummy lol.

Lord housewife... Name looks so familiar, are you on behemoth?

we aren't dps. as someone said earlier the weapon only boosted their dps by 50, and hive weapon is enough for savage A1. (with damage to adds i was pushing 1.2k damage on faust, above 900 on faust himself.)
get what your biggest upgrade is.

Even in terms of tankiness the chest isn't really superior to the weapon. You only gain a bit more VIT if you upgrade from the 180 chest to the 200 one instead of upgrading from Hive weapon to eso weapon. And the gain in def/mdef is laughable.
Weapon is the biggest upgrade and the first everyone should buy. The increase in DPS is real and you still gain VIT too. As a tank you're still a damage dealing job, hitting things 100% of the time, like a DPS. Buying the weapon benefits more to your entire party than buying the chestpiece.
