Well, the game is designed for a casual player to easily get into and easily get out of, considering time blocks where they only have, like yourself, 1 hour a day. XIV out of the entire MMO library has been one of the most casual friendly games ever implemented.

However, if you *only* have 1 hour a day, you can only accomplish so much in a genre of video games designed to be time sinks. That isn't a fault of the game's design.
