Most of your gear will be given to you in MS anyway so the need to make your own gear isn't really that dire. If you wish to level up a DOH quickly ask a person who already has it at 50 and request that you make you HQ for to hand in on leve quest as HQ will double EXP gained and if it's under LV50 your 1st Class will be getting a 50% bonus and your 2nd under LV50 class will get a 100% EXP bonus.

Well that is a good strategy handing over HQ items on leve quests. Ok I will try if someone can craft some leve HQ items for me.

Your main combat job has nothing to do with crafting XP. Martin suggested getting a 50 crafter to make the stuff for you because they can HQ the stuff easier than you can while they're well above its level and you're on-level.

Having a DoW/DoM class above your current one does give you a bonus for other DoW/DoM classes, but not for DoH/DoL. (And even on DoW/DoM it has nothing to do with level 50, just higher than your current one.)
