The only one that matters:
Maruader > Berserker. Dual wielding Great Axes.
25% Stance with Abandon stacks for 5% Crit each. Various job abilities that have oGCD use and use the aforementioned stacks. Defensive cooldowns save Foresight(because we all know DPS need a handful of dead skills) changed into various DPS or utility boosting effects. Holmgang changed to a gap closer where you either pull the target to you or larch on it with your chain and hook to pull yourself to hit, smashing your skull into its ribcage for 150 potency. Storm's Path changed effect to deals additional dot damage of 50 for 30 seconds.
Did I mention that it can cross class Fell Cleave and Decimate?
One can only dream..
I'd like if say they give MNK ability to equip a staff / tonfa and it becomes a tank job, kinda like SMN-SCH pair.

In this order:
1. Blue Mage
2. Beastmaster
3. Geomancer
4. Thief (would prefer a "real" rogue to NIN / lack of mudra lag)
5. Puppetmaster
Samurai is very far down on my personal list, but why not?
Honestly, I would really prefer each of the 3 tanks got a DPS class version.
PLD >> Mystic Knight.
WAR >> Berserker
DRK >> what DRK should have been.
I really miss having a "heavy weapons" DPS class. Here, in 14, they're both tanks.

You won't get it. Not in the way you want it anyways. Point blank, Ranged DPS always have a default advantage over melee. The trade off for that is dealing less overall damage, which is what we have now with support functions to compensate for the balance check.
You guys don't like "Gun/bow mage" already, you won't get anything better really than you have now.

On topic. Magic Class, front Line. My suggestion? Red Mage.
I want Red Mage. Frontline Magic damage please.

I want classes. Unless they erase all current classes and make a job-only system from scratch (not that hard to Mr. Yoshida).
Anyway:
Performer > Dancer (Job crystal shaped like a pink heart, wields cloths)
DoT semi-ranged DPS class with supportive skills.

Samurai - as a tank(lol) or dps
Dancer - Melee / support (much like it is in 11)
Other than that, not much else I'd like to see. I hear alot of other FF11 jobs, but to that I say NOPE!! ALL OF MY NOPE!!
If Red Mage makes it in the game it will never be your FF11 redmage.
Beastmaster? Dear god no more pet jobs, they can't do them correctly.
Puppetmaster? See Beastmaster.
Bluemage? I can see a maybe, but lets be real, how they gonna implement this? Again it won't be your 11 bluemage.
I'd much rather they come up with brand new jobs to be perfectly honest.

By the twelve I sure hope not! FF11 RDM was bastardized by the player base, and was forced to wield the best of gear in order to be accepted in the front lines.
I'm looking more along the lines of a Mage class that's in the front lines by default.

I wouldn't say that. It was what it was in FF11, but people who want to see it, maybe not you, but alot of people who want it, want it to be what it was from FF11, and that will never come to pass. People need to give up this silly notion that FF14 = FF11. They are very different games. I played my fair share of FF11 in the ages of RoTZ and CoP, and I'd much rather FF14, pave the way making new jobs or bringing a new twist to old favorites as far as jobs are concerned. Please leave the nostalgia goggles at home.
I would love to see BLU but I would settle for FFTA elementalist or geomancer or assassin so we can get a true bow dps.
