I got to admit I was thoroughly disappointed when I saw the stats for the scholar esoterics weapon. Not a single bit of crit, and instead a stack of pie and spell speed. And instead the Whm get the crit. Why?

I know it just sucks. I don't really feel that comfortable giving up the I think 80 crit on my hive weapon for spell speed.
