Caution must be observed at all times by the FC master. Personally I assigned the least access to the New Member rank, I allowed them access to tab 1 of the FC chest and notify the members that only non-valuables are to be put there (cheap leather for crafting, chocobo food excluding Thav Onion, that stuff).

However, I do agree that SE needs to do something about the FC system. Our previous FC was run by brothers who kicked everyone out about a month after we purchased and furnished the house. The plot purchase was about evenly shared by the senior members at that time, and the furnishings were done mostly by the senior members and not the brothers who ran the FC. The FC master is the only member of that FC now (his brother left) and uses it as if it was his private house. SE didn't do anything about it because of the FC rules "the master can do whatever he wants, etc"... we have since formed our own FC and build our own house, but it still sucks that the other FC master is running around as if nothing happened and did not even apologize to the members that he kicked.
