To be frank, your idea of what a healer is is woefully misconceived and shows a shallow understanding of the role.

Well, this has been my issue with the topic from the start. You have people basically saying, "You need to do it my way or you're bad, regardless of effectiveness or the end result, and even when it doesn't matter." and usually all because of some preconceived notion of what "healers should do".
