I DO get it. The operative word here is intelligent in intelligent discussion. And rage fueled rant? Please... I don't rage on something as pitiful as this. But for the sake of logical, reasonable discussion i will continue on...
As to the Warrior fixes they tested the conditions themselves under which the complaints (the valid ones anyway) were made. Thus they decided that Warrior did, in fact, need to be tweaked. As to anything I post being garbage, you are entitled to your opinion and that's it. The same could be said of your assumptions of anything to do with my motives, and you know what they say about assuming... Your little tidbit about fantasias is false, we did get a response. Whether or not it was on the forums is neither here nor there. They did respond. They also said they do not appreciate riot threads and are under no obligation to reply to or otherwise "fix" whatever the subject is about. Just because a string of text says "riot" doesn't make it important. That's just delusional to believe that is what led to fantasias being sold on mogstation. The only tirade here, in this "concerned about game" thread, is the same people among the countless hundreds of others repeatedly saying they dislike the way SE is making the game. After two years of the same thing they have been doing it took you all until the expansion to realize that this is indeed the path the development team has taken? Call me crazy, but that's just nuts. You all have clearly had plenty of time to realize that Yoshida and company are not making a hardcore game, at all. So who is to blame for you all's disillusionment? The game? No it's inanimate. Yoshida or the rest of the development team? No they have made it clear the path the game is taking. Is it you all? Yes and no. Yes because you keep trying to fool yourselves into thinking they will just do an about face on core game aspects almost overnight and that isn't reasonable. Then no because if you come from the older gaming generation like me you would like more variety, more difficulty, just more. And there isn't anything wrong with that but that just is not what the devs have in mind. Times have changed, gaming isn't what it used to be. SE now has to cater to people with time constraints. The days of long hour camping, dungeon mass running, or whatever you wish to use as an example for equipment is no longer as popular as it once was because people grow up, get jobs, get married, have families, and cannot dedicate that kind of time anymore to such things.
Ultimately you cannot please everyone. I dislike crafting with a passion, but I know it won't be changed significantly enough to make me like it so I don't do it. Simple as that. I like gathering and the DOW stuff and that more than makes up for it. The variety of gear and other such things are nice in theory but the gear stats would be nerfed into the ground because this game is, at its core, based on the trinity. I'm not saying it can't or won't happen but if it does it will be nothing like you hoped because of the balance priority. I'd love to have true support jobs on here but I'm not holding my breath for something that most likely will never happen. I've learned to accept that there are things I just will not get on here and I am perfectly fine with that. At the end of the day it is still an amazing game to view and play imho.
