OP I feel the same way I keep wondering why they added nothing new...just more of the same. It is very strange...I understand with 2.0, playing it safe, taking their time and catching up, so the rehashed stuff I overlooked. However, with an expansion, where is all the new content?

Sadly I had to unsub...I just can't bring myself to play anymore, unless they put in new stuff...

I've removed my auto renew for FFXiV and I've not purchased HW. Not only is crafting broken but the treadmill is on par to taking me no where. Why invest time doing repetitive things that will be obsolete? I also disagree on not getting another retainer if they add more materials in an Expansion? I have a feeling they will eventually convert this game to a f2p style seeing as there is no point paying a monthly fee if there is no new investment from the devs to improve the game. Creating similar hurdles is not improving the game in my opinion, its stalling...

Your money is voting with your opinion, do not see SE doing f2p since even FFXI is sub still. FFXIV is still in a good spot in subs and amount of money made per month no reason to think otherwise as of right now.
